If you don't have a password you can apply for one by filling out the New User form. Access is restricted to clients and limited to relevant work. See below for more details. Creating a New User back to top » Clicking on the New User button on the Login page directs you to the application form. Please enter your details in all the fields. If a field is not applicable please enter N/A. It's important all the information entered is correct as these details will be used for the delivery and invoicing of any images. To amend any of your details please contact the site administrator by emailing lee@mooneyphoto.com with the relevent information. Any additional information can be entered in the last field "Extra Info". Once the form is completed click the Submit button to send your details to the administrator. If access is granted you will then be emailed a user name and password. Selecting a Catalog to View back to top » Once you've logged in, you'll be asked to open a Catalogue. Your access permission determines the Catalogues you can access and this is controlled by the administrator. To select multiple catalogs, press the CTRL (Windows) / Command (Mac OS) key when clicking on the Catalogue names. Your browser will now load the images. Browser Information and loading time back to top » It's important to let your browser fully load the Catalogue to avoid problems. Use the status bar at the bottom left of your browser windows to monitor the loading of your selected Catalogues. The site is designed to work on both Mac and PC, if you have any problems please contact the administrator by emailing lee@mooneyphoto.com Searching The Library Control Menu overview back to top » Search results can be viewed in five different ways - Thumbnails, Details, Caption, Preview and Slideshow. As default, search results load as pages of Thumbnails. Your chosen view will be highlighted in red. Clicking on the Your Basket button will show your ordered images, when you are in this mode the Your Basket tab will be highlighted red. Your ordered images can also be viewed in the five different modes - Thumbnails, Details, Caption, Preview and Slideshow. Keywords / Category Tree / Advanced Searching back to top » Keywords - Within the bottom control menu is the keyword search, which looks for keywords and image reference numbers using two search options. The default is "New search" which means it will search the whole Catalogue. Selecting the "Search within results" options narrows the search to within your previous search results, eg a New Search for "David Beckham" and then keyword search for "celebration" with the "Search within results" box checked, means you'll only search through your David Beckham results for celebration images. Category Tree - The Category Tree offers the user a hierarchical list of events, to view an event simply click on it. All events are categorised into headings and subcategories and if a heading is expandable then a Option Menus back to top » In the Search Results pages clicking on an image be it in any of the modes will open the Search option pop-up menu, within this menu you can do the following :- Close - Closes the Search option pop-up menu. Preview - Previews the image by directing you to the preview view mode. Information - Directs you to the images Caption view. Add to Basket / Remove from Basket - Adds an image to your Basket or removes it. Add page to Basket - Adds all results from the page you are viewing to your Basket. Add search results to Basket - Adds all results to your Basket. In the Your Basket pages clicking on an image be it in any of the modes will open the Basket option pop-up menu, within this menu you can do the following :- Close - Closes the Collection option pop-up menu. Download Image - Download the image directly to your computer. Download all Images - Downloads all the images in you collection directly to your computer in one Zip file. E-Mail Image - E-Mail the image (jpeg) directly to the email address connected to your username. E-Mail all Images - E-Mail all the images (zip) directly to the email address connected to your username. Order image on CD-ROM - Prepares the image for CD-ROM sent to the address connected to your username. Order all images on CD-ROM - Prepares all the image for CD-ROM sent to the address connected to your username. Information - Directs you to the images Caption view. Preview - Previews the image by directing you to the preview view mode. Remove from Basket - Removes the image from your Basket. Empty Basket - Empties your Basket. Download Formats / Renditions back to top » If you have full download permission you will be able to select from seven different download sizes in Your Basket within the following view modes - Thumbnails, Details and Caption view by using the rendition drop down menus. You must select an option for each image in your order, if you don't the download size will default to Preview 512px. 01 XX Large 200% 300 dpi - (JPEG Quality = 12 [full]) 02 X Large 150% 300 dpi - (JPEG Quality = 12 [full]) 03 Large 100% 300 dpi - (JPEG Quality = 12 [full]) 04 Medium 70% 300 dpi - (JPEG Quality = 12 [full]) 05 Small 30% 300 dpi - (JPEG Quality = 12 [full]) 06 Preview 1024px - (JPEG Quality = 6 [PowerPoint]) 07 Preview 512px - (JPEG Quality = 6) Standard files sizes range from 11.6mb to 23.mb, to put the about percentages into context the Caption view includes information about the files horizontal and vertical pixel dimensions at 100%. Caption / IPTC Information back to top » Caption information for all images can be viewed online in the Caption view. The caption includes date, job reference number and addition keywords. Information on the file format and data size are also avalible. The Show URL Link to Record allows users to copy the link to a specific file and send it to another user (this user must have the same access privileges / available catalogs) to access the file. |
